We Are America’s Hygiene Hub
With your help, Giving The Basics provides the necessities of life that most people take for granted such as laundry soap, shampoo, deodorant, toilet paper and other personal care hygiene products to registered and approved locations.
Our Mission
Giving The Basics aims to bring improved health, hope and dignity to struggling children and adults through the procurement, fulfillment, and distribution of hygiene products.
Volunteer With Us
No special skills are needed, and we would love for you to come and help us sort and package product to be distributed throughout the Kansas City community.
Weekly Opportunities
We offer weekly volunteer opportunities on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Community Night
We also host a community night on Second Tuesday of Every month.
