Teresa Hamilton, Executive Director of Giving the Basics
Teresa is Vice-President and Co-owner of Hamilton Plumbing and HVAC for the past 30 years. She has served in numerous school boards and is a public speaker for family topics. She attended Rockhurst University.
Jeffery Anderson
Jeffery is a founder and the Chief Sales Officer of Spring Venture Group. Knowing there had to be a better way to do business, he combined technology, an authentic company culture, a revenue-generating sales platform, and an unassailable business proposition to start SVG in 2009—and has since launched six companies under the SVG umbrella. He’s passionate about delivering world- class service to our customers through innovative operational strategies and a rock-solid team of people who love what they do. In 2013, he was recognized on Ingram’s 40 Under Forty list for his ability to empower both people and processes to reach their full potential.
Prior to SVG, Jeffery held various leadership roles at Capital One and American Equity Mortgage. He attended Lake Forest College for philosophy and economics.
Bill Marshall
President, Moonshot Innovations – Bill brings more than 25 years experience as an Information Technology (IT) professional with strong expertise in IT management, Enterprise architecture, Software Development and IT Security Management practices. Certified expertise in establishing and managing information security programs. Designed and implemented an enterprise architecture to support business growth objectives, including a web and mobile enterprise application for Staffing Agencies.
Stacey Howe
VP Supply Chain – Stacey Howe is Vice President Supply Chain – Visual Merchandising & IBP at Hallmark Cards, Inc. She is accountable for oversight of the operations and execution of visual merchandising in all mass and specialty retail channels for Hallmark. In addition, she leads the Integrated Business Planning process for Hallmark Global.
Ron Edelman
Ron and James Thompson formed Edelman & Thompson in 1994. Ron has been recognized nationally as a “Top 100” civil litigator by the National Trial Lawyers Association. He has also been honored as a “Top 100” worker’s compensation lawyers by the Workplace Injury Litigation Group, the foremost national organization of worker’s compensation lawyer. Ron is a member of the Missouri and Kansas bars, the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Workplace Injury Litigation Group, the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association, the Missouri Trial Lawyers Association, and the Kansas City Bar Association. He is licensed in both state and federal courts in Kansas and Missouri.
Heath Hoobing
Heath Hoobing is a tax attorney and shareholder at Seigfreid Bingham, P.C. in Kansas City. In addition to tax work, he also practices in the areas of estate planning, nonprofit, employee benefits, health care, and corporate law. An active member of the legal community and a life-long resident in the Kansas City area, Heath has served on the Board of Directors of Giving the Basics since 2011.
Brian Leitner
Senior Wealth Advisor with Mariner Wealth for five years. He has a Bachelor’s degree in economics from the State University of New York at Oneonta and a Masters degree in taxation from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is a certified Financial Planner and a Chartered Financial Consultant.
Kimberly Newton
Vice-President of North America Strategy and Planning for Hallmark Corporation. She has held numerous management positions within Hallmark the past 20 years. Her degrees include a bachelor degree in accounting from Fisk University and a MBA in business administration for Vanderbilt University.
Anna Marie Vogel
Retired Civil Engineer and Active in Various Community Projects. She received her Civil Engineering degree from Notre Dame University.
Nick Warren
Nick Warren is an Executive Vice President at Commerce Bank in Kansas City. Nick received his finance degree at Kansas State University and his MBA at Baker University.
Peter Hardy
Peter Hardy is Vice President and client portfolio manager for American Century Investments. Peter has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Furman University. He is a CFA charter holder and a member of the CFA Institute.
